Las Cosas Que Importan

Sentada en una sala de juntas llena de gente, escuche a un tipo desconocido decir lo siguiente: "Somos una empresa con mucho dinero y nuestros único pecado es que queremos más" y pensé: "¿En qué momento perdimos el sentido de la vida?" en serio, ¿En que momento dejamos de notar la ironía? pues inmediatamente después de tal declaración nos avisaron que este año no hay aumentos, bonos ni incentivos de ningún tipo, porque..."tenemos que ahorrar". Me parece totalmente indignante que nadie más que yo se haya dado cuenta del insulto que representaron semejantes palabras, que traducidas a un lenguaje plano podrían entenderse como: "Tenemos mucho dinero, pero queremos más y los vamos a explotar a ustedes para que lograrlo, nos vamos a aprovechar del pánico que tienen de perder sus empleos, para obligarlos a trabajar el doble con el mismo sueldo" Claro que el trabajo puede ser una fuente de satisfacciones y también es una forma de superación personal.
